The Christmas Cultural Evening brings music and culture to Porto Itapoá
The traditional Cultural Evening, held by Porto Itapoá returned for 2022, after an absence of two years due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The event included various artistic performances and took place on Friday and Saturday (December 16th and 17th), in the Terminal’s parking lot and was attended by many people from Itapoá.
The show is sponsored by Porto Itapoá, through cultural incentives legislation and showcases various artistic groups that also benefit from the legislation. The president of Porto Itapoá reiterated the company’s interest in encouraging culture in Itapoá. “We have been supporting projects, using tax benefits, since 2015 and have spent in total BRL 7.2 million, of which BRL 4.4 million has been on culture alone,” he revealed.
Porto Itapoá prioritizes projects that take place, or have equivalents, in the Municipality of Itapoá, according to Schreiner. “This demonstrates our interest in people’s development and local development”.
