In early November, Porto Itapoá unloaded 6 Flat Racks, consisting of 12 large and small excavators, weighing approximately 145 tons in total. The first phase of the operation consisted of placing the units on the wharf side, inspecting them, removing the blocking and bracing material and preparing the machines so that they could be moved using 7 Ton Forklifts and Portainers and loading them onto trucks. The entire operation was completed successfully and without incident. Once again, Porto Itapoá proved itself to be a dedicated multipurpose terminal, that can handle a wide range of cargo, expertly and safely.
