Porto Itapoá presents new commercial manager
Ricardo Nuno Sousa Teixeira brings with him a vast experience of over 20 years in the logistics and transport sector, working in leading companies in the global market.
Ricardo Nuno Sousa Teixeira is the new Commercial Manager of Porto Itapoá. Ricardo brings with him a vast experience of over 20 years in the logistics and transportation sector, working in leading companies in the global market. With a solid professional trajectory, he built his career with a focus on results, innovation and excellence.
With a degree in Supply Chain Management and Logistics, with specializations in Finance, Business Logistics and Administration, Ricardo has developed a robust strategic approach, always aligning operations and commercial objectives with the company’s results. Throughout his career, he has stood out for leading highly complex projects and implementing strategies that positively impacted performance and profitability in multicultural and multidisciplinary environments.
Ricardo has strong commercial experience, having held the position of ECSA Customer Solution & Project Cargo Manager at A.P. Moller – Maersk, where he managed the market intelligence team to develop new products and services and led customized logistics projects. Ricardo also had a significant stint in the commercial team at APM Terminals (Maersk Group), where he served in various roles, including Branch Manager and Commercial & Project Manager.
More recently, he served as Operations Director at Norcoast Logística S.A. (NORSUL Group), where he led all operations related to maritime and land transportation, acting as PMO in the company’s creation and implementation project.
These are some of the professional experiences that have given Ricardo a proven track record of achievements, as well as a strong ability to develop innovative solutions, lead teams and strengthen the company’s operational and financial performance.
