Porto Itapoá won the Gold Seal at the 2024 Proteção Brasil Awards in the “Training and Communication in Occupational Health and Safety” category. The winning project was the TV MAIS project, designed and led by the CIPA team.
The award was received by Willian Arthur Prestes, Operational Process Analyst and President of CIPA; Luiz Ricci, Legal Assistant and Vice-President of CIPA; Luiz Mascarenhas, Safety Designer; and Renan Schneider, Occupational Health and Safety Coordinator.
The Proteção Brasil Award for Occupational Health and Safety is now in its 20th edition. This is the most important distinction granted to the work developed within companies in favor of worker health and safety. It is produced by Revista Proteção, the main Brazilian publication focused on the prevention sector. This year, there were 336 cases registered, 19 participating states and 32 judges evaluating.
Since 2005, companies and entities from all regions of Brazil have been awarded, and professionals who stand out for their actions in favor of quality of life in the workplace. The selection is based on good OHS practices, through the evaluation of the cases developed. In 19 years (2005 to 2023), 420 cases were awarded.
