The Generation Program: Encouraging Financial Support within the Community. This program was organized by Porto Itapoá and received an award at the 12th Ser Humano Awards – Santa Catarina, in the People Management – Sustainability category. The awards ceremony took place during the Santa Catarina Human Resources Conference (CONCARH), held on July 7th, in Florianopolis.
As well as this award, two more of the Terminal’s programs were given certificates at the ceremony: the MAIS (My Actions Inspire Safety) Program, in the People Management – Development category; and the Home Working program: Balancing Welfare, Health and Performance, in the People Management – Administration category.
Porto Itapoá’s President, Cássio Schreiner, celebrated their success and emphasized the skills of the staff at the Terminal: “I am very pleased with the awards, but not surprised. We have a highly skilled team that is dedicated to improving working conditions within our company all the time,” he said.
The Ser Humano Award recognizes students, working people and public and private companies, whether micro, small, medium or large, that have made a relevant contribution to the development of the practice of People Management, in a way that supports human and organizational development.
The Generation Program: Encouraging Financial Support within the Community and Home Working: Balancing Welfare, Health and Performance received the greatest support in their categories and won the award given by the Brazilian Association of Human Resources (ABRH).
Porto Itapoá has also won a national prize for the Ser Humano Awards, receiving the gold award in 2015 in the People Management – Company category, for the Facilitators: Sharing Knowledge, Producing Results program.
