Choice of Location
The Battistella group shows interest in developing a private port terminal. The city of Itapoá was chosen to receive the project due to the natural depth conditions on the northern shore of Babitonga Bay.

Work on the Terminal begins.

First ship
First ship docking in Porto Itapoá.
Highway SC416
2012
Inauguration of the SC 416 highway, ensuring direct paved access to the Terminal.
2013
One Thousand Ships
1000th ship docked.
One Million TEU's
2014
Even before completing its third year of operation, the Terminal reaches the mark of 1 million TEUs handled.
2015
Expansion
Porto Itapoá receives the Prior License for the expansion of the Terminal
Two Million TEU's
2016
Porto Itapoá reaches the mark of 2 million TEU’s.
2017
Three Million TEU's
Porto Itapoá reaches the mark of 3 million TEU’s.
Courtyard expanded to 100.000 mil meters²
2018
The Terminal starts to operate with more than 100 thousand m² of yard and over 170 of pier.
