This recognition is an important milestone for Ilcilene as it helps to consolidate the program that began in 2019. “The safety of our employees is fundamental to how Porto Itapoá runs its operations and, therefore, this award is an important indicator that we are on the right track”, she explained.
Alexandre Gusmão, the Director of Revista Proteção, reminded us that the magazine has been holding the Brazil Protection Award since 2005. “It is a way for us to work together to publicize successful OHS initiatives by companies and to foster a culture of prevention”, he said.
The MAIS Program also received a certificate this year at the 12th Ser Humano (Human Being) Award, organized by the Brazilian Association of Human Resources – Santa Catarina, in the People Management – Development category.
