Porto Itapoá has a new exclusive route to North America in Santa Catarina

Porto Itapoá announces a significant expansion in its service offerings, marking the arrival of ZIM’s (ZIM Integrated Shipping Services) ZGT service, being the only terminal in Santa Catarina to receive this service. Inaugurated in October 2023, ZGT connects the east coast of South America to ports in the Caribbean and North America.

Sergni Pessoa Rosa Jr., Director of Operations, Technology, and Environment at Porto Itapoá, emphasizes the importance of ZIM’s ZGT service, stating, “Our service offering has been gaining increasing quality and diversity, and this is important for the various stakeholders in the logistics chain,” he says.

The ZGT rotation will follow as follows:
